Cleo Claws has marked September 26 on her moon calendar. White Sands National Park is inviting visitors to a full-moon evening concert featuring Native American flautist and storyteller Randy Granger.
The National Park Service says the program begins at 6:30 p.m. in the park’s outdoor amphitheater. Parking opens at 5 p.m., and the performance is planned to last about 90 minutes.
Granger’s program brings Native American flute and other acoustic instruments to a landscape built for big skies and quiet listening. The park describes him as an award-winning musician and storyteller with Mayan and Apache heritage.
